Since last month I am fascinated by this teaser about a
naked portafilter that
Gábor, a fellow
roaster from Hungary, has published:
I begged him to make me one of those for my Millennium La Pavoni Europiccola and he did! The package arrived this morning, with a pack of beans, Costa Rica SHB Tarrazu Rio Jorco which he roasted.
It's an excellently manufactured gem of a portafilter. It weighs a little over 260g, feels great in the hand and every detail of it has been carefully finished. No sharp edges, all metal shiny and strong.
